Monroe's Cake Smash

I've been wanting to update this blog!  For some reason it is just so much easier to show some sneak peeks on Facebook instead of blogging about my sessions.  I know that some of you have found me through here instead of Facebook so it makes me want to provide more updated work.  It has almost been a YEAR since I have blogged! So bad...
So I'm going to try to get some sessions on here!

Monroe's cake smash session was just adorable.  Babies are so much fun to photograph.

Birthday Boy!

This session is so special!  Not just because it is his first birthday, but for me because I took his mama's maternity photos, and his newborn pics with a few along the way.

Puppy Love

I cannot believe I never blogged these!  I took them in February!  How bad is that!

Anyway, this shoot was SO MUCH FUN!  I think anytime there is a puppy involved and absolutely darling kiddos it is bound to be amazing.

Michelle, I don't think your kids could be anymore photogenic!  I can't wait for your next shoot :)

winter shoots are cold!  this cutie was a little shy of my camera but we got some cute photos despite the cold tempertatures.

jaxon and kendra

this shoot had been planned and rescheduled a bunch and i am so happy that we were finally able to do it :) it was a wonderfully foggy day with tiny white specks of snow floating in the air but the sun did peek out a few times and warm us up because it was freezing!

these kiddos are just darling. and they have fantastic parents whom i have known for quite awhile. i counted it as a success when kendra came and sat on my lap for a minute - it was the cutest thing ever! oh, and the girls better watch out for jaxon - such a handsome guy ;)

thank you for letting me take your photos and i seriously CAN NOT wait to take your family ones come spring!

life

i am so happy that my cousin asked me to do this kind of shoot.  it was something that i had been wanting to try.  i took these photos back in november and haven't been able to blog about it until now.

she asked to come and capture her being home with her children just doing their routine.  breakfast, baths, cuddling and some storytime.

oh how i loved this!  just watching the sweetness of a mother with her children and being a fly on the wall to just capture them being them!

seriously if any of you want something like this i would be more than happy to do it :)  every mother, i believe, should have photos like this with her children.
